Intertextuality

 Music Artist

I ensured my music artists resembled the style of Lana Del Rey's style of melancholic romance and old glamour. I used the same font and layout of her name being the main focus point of her albums when creating my artists newest cover release and referenced her most famous album 'Born To Die' when titling my story Born To Shine. Clicking on the high heel featured on the website will show readers the newly released album cover, creating a feeling of exclusivity.

I have also referenced the matrix in one of my news stories, linking it to a darker dystopian style of fashion that appears throughout the classic film.

I wanted to include some interactive elements. When the mouse is hovered on this photograph it will change so that my model has turned around.

I edited my interactive fashion element in order to make it more put together and so the clothing items were aligned and closer together. I also deleted the excess writing as it changed with each slide. 

I then managed to edit my 30s video so that it appears as its original portrait instead of landscape.

For my competition element I ensured the share button was interactive and provided audiences with more information and a chance to share their social media with the magazine. By providing examples I hoped to strengthen the digital convergence of this website.

I altered my subscribe pop up to make it more striking for those visiting the website.
